If i am using an office computer, all i do is go to "My Computer" then i can access "Office Locl on Menzwolsvr01" (O:) If i can get to this flder, i can then browse and access my files that I need. There are 2 network drives listed on the office computer...the other one is labelled with my name eeg : joe smith on "menzwolsvr01\users$ (H:) If i try using my laptop, all i get are my dvd drive and own hard drive insude my laptop machine. on my laptop, if i go to network sharing centre, and near the top where it shows my connection to the internet...and i double click on the centre part, i can see about 70 computers there...but if i double click on them, they are not accessible error code 0x80070035...the path was not found. Doesn this help at all??? The other thing i need to do is print to one of our large machines here at the office. thanks, Mark.

Running WIndows 7 Home Premium, on a HP Pavillion dv6 notebook. I basically bought the laptop 2 days ago, and have taken it to the office and plugged in the network cable, with my old laptop, all was ok, but that was running Vista..If i remember correctly, that was all I had to do. I think W7 is a little more complex this time lol Thanks.

Hi, just bought my new laptop into the office, and it is plugged into the office network... I can access the net using IE or ForeFox, and access my emails thru them too, but when I try to access the server, and any files on there, i get nothing...Pressing "windows & E" only brings up my DVD drive and hard drive GRRRRR Any ideas, I have called our IT guy, and basically, his comment was ..."thats why we stick to xp" ...grrrrrrrrrrrrr Any help would be appreciated, and I should be able to convince the IT guy to help out alittle if I try.
