I know this thread is old, but I found a simpler way to fix this. I was having the same problem, and did the same steps the OP did except for one. If you are having the same problem, here is what you do. 1: Create "wimfltr" folder in vLite folder. 2: Transfer x86 folder from Windows AIK folder to vLite wimfltr folder. 3: Open up one vLite folder window, and one window of the wimflt folder. 4: Transfer wimgapi.dll from wimfltr folder to vLite folder. 5: Run vLite, problem solved.
