  1. I apologize if this is redundant, but I am quickly submerging in the complexities of what people are trying to accomplish with their answer files. New W7 build, well actually about the 3 attempt at getting it right, but I am using a SSD as the OS drive and would like to off-load User Profiles and the default program data location onto the HDD's D:. The simplest way to do this from the start of the install is a autounattend.xml answer file and the original install DVD, correct? Since I have to destroy two partitions and create a new one and format, can I just run the UI except for moving these two folder locations where I want them so they do not bloat the SSD? From working with the AIK so far I believe that the Xml for the folder settings should be: <settings pass="oobeSystem"> <component name="Microsoft-Windows-Shell-Setup" processorArchitecture="amd64" publicKeyToken="31bf3856ad364e35" language="neutral" versionScope="nonSxS" xmlns:wcm="http://schemas.microsoft.com/WMIConfig/2002/State" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance"> <FolderLocations> <ProfilesDirectory>D:\Users</ProfilesDirectory> <ProgramData>D:\Program Files\Default</ProgramData> </FolderLocations> </component> </settings> Can I somehow just set the rest of the script to "showUI=always" somehow except for these two settings? Love to completely learn this, but so many things on the to do list and need to move forward in the simplist way possible. Thanks so much for your time!
