Hello all, this is my first post ever on this forum. I hope this will be a learning experience. And i hope to maybe help others with their problems as well. My problem is that i have xp pro and when i attemp to put the pc in hibernate mode, it would go to standby as usual, but when i go to reactivate it, the pc will either automatically restart, or do nothing at all. Then i get an error message saying the pc has recovered from a serious error.....blah blah blah. I had 98se and did a fresh install(reformat to ntfs and all). I DID have this prob in 98. However, 98 did not allow me the use of a screensaver or auto monitor off. Those two options work now on xp. Any thoughts? Gigabyte ga-7dxr+ maxtor 40gig 7200 512mb ddr pc2100 A-Open ge2 ti amd 1.4
