For those who got audio working, what hardware are you using? No audio for me using the Audigy 2 (creative)

If you make an admin install (and slipstream all updates) you should be able to use the standard /qn switch to install. Or do you mean something else?

Works like a charm, unfortunately the recode takes quite long and there is no sound (at least not in VMware test, is this due to the Audigy 2 hardware?) I have one issue though...I receive an error message at the end of the playback which halts the instalation (have to press ok). Should the Blink windows close by itself? (havn't tried smacker)

Just wanted to mention that the current solution works for me. After instalation SAV is all updated.

I make my iso using CDImage and simply burn the image using Nero, do select DVD of course

I use a capital 's' for abc, build my own winamp package and use FFDshow since I'm not that much of an encoder. So, try using the big s? (for abc)

It would appear that the entries are not per-install based as my vmware takes my normal installations entries? Hi there, I can locate the registry entry which holds my current name for 'My Computer' in the start menu but how to export this so it will work in a silent install. It appears that the location is different for each install? (I also want te rename "My network places') My humble appologies if my search skills prove unsatisfactory

Ok, my workaround so far is to simply call the manual virusupdate with the /Q switch. I get an error doing this if I don't move/copy the file to the target system first (to be deleted afterwards). This wil result in an updated definition but as you mentioned SAV still likes to update anyway Also, executing a .msi file with the /qn switch gives me a nasty pop up if the publisher is unknown (fe the newly build SAV package) Will this show during unattended install?

If you can tell me how to find out For the moments some screens of the update: [edited] The virus definitions as stated in the programm were only updated after the seccond liveupdate.

Thanks for the info prathapml but unfortunately I have some minor issues still. I followed yor instructions but after a succesfull install (in vmware) I still needed two liveupdates to get it updated. Any ideas how to solve this? :/
