You guys are great! I'm a novice at some of this but I may try GRADIUS2's solution. Here's my BARRACUDA 7200.11. Bought it in January 2009, Died October 2009. Looks like it was built July 14, 2008. Seagate says they won't touch it because is has HP firmware.
