I downloaded Norton 2010 a few months ago and it worked fine. A few weeks ago it crashed, blue background with white letters so I restored it back three weeks and it worked ok but Norton wasn't working, so I put the disk back into the tower to try downloading it again, but it would tell me that I should remove recent downloads or that something wasn't updated recently. This happened twice. I use Windows XP and my computer is a Dell Dimension E310. I was using the safe mode for awhile. Jim Grucza Email: jgrucza1@msn.com this is the person who sent me this problem. I suggested using the Norton Removal tool and do a clean install. The only other option I would use, format the hard drive and start fresh. I would appreciate any help. Thank you.

I have a LG GH22NS50 SATA dvd burner. I am having trouble with it burning DVD-R media. Assuming I need to replace the drive, can someone suggest an alternative drive? Is sata that much bettere than ide? I do have sata hdd's. Thank for your help.

I was trying to backup a move (video_ts folder) to dvd. I use XP Pro with all the latest updates, 4 gig ram, Core 2 Duo E8400. I installed the latest fiirmware for the drive. I can burn Verbatim DVD+R's with no problem. The drive used to burn Sony as well but now I am lucky if I get one out of five coreect. I will give ImgBurn a try. I have never heard of the other two. I am using Nero 8.3.17.0 with a LG GH22NS50 dvd recorder. When I try to burn a dvd, I get the following message: pma update failure could not perform end of disc-at-once burn process failed I used Sony DVD-R media. LG claims it is the software and Nero blames LG. So I appear to be stuck with headaches. I would appreciate any advice. Thank you in advance.
