Hi all, I'm trying to enable the support for east asian languages after Windows XP is already installed. I wonder if there ist a methode to do it via batch or manipulating hte registry - any automatic idea is welcom! Can anyone help me? as-sassin

For Type1-fonts it's [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Type 1 Installer\Type 1 Fonts] . I had these problems lately . as-sassin

B) That's an honor! I did the sizing thing the way it was told in the thread, but it just sized the administrator's quicklaunch bar, the user's stayed default-small... I did first the felix thing, than imported the sizing-regkey, shout I have done the sizing first? as-sassin

It seems to me that the sizing only work with the Administrator but when I log on as User it's still default-small . Is that usual with that solution? as-sassin

I added that reg add HKU\CUSTOM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced /v TaskbarSizeMove /t REG_DWORD /d 1 to my script to unfix the Quicklaunch Bar, but it seeams even much better to fix the right size by default! I'll try it (as soon as my Test-PC ist installed properly)! As I told you before, I use Felix' reg-file to set the quicklaunch bar. In Felix' Script I add in [HKEY_USERS\custom\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Streams\Desktop] Default Taskbar and TaskbarWinXP Do I have to overwrite his Default Taskbar with my saved TaskbarWinXP as rdalling described it? It's great, but I'm not finished at all by now: The Quick Launch Bar only shows the Links at c:\documents and settings\special user\and\so\on\Quick Launch not from c:\documents and settings\default user\and\so\on\ (or all users)... I did it after the user logged on, but after your remark I created a test-account and logged on with that, but there was no quick launch bar, too. as-sassin
