weird and sad..as soon as i saw the news a flashback of challenger came to memory i remember when that happened and it was a really sad event..my prayers go out to all of the families of the brave people that were lost in this tragic accident.

yeah it definitely sounds like a psu issue, i have a friend that had those issues and more with his machine after getting a geforce 4 ti 4200 and after he upgraded his case and psu considering he needed a new one anyway, his problem disapeared.

Hey everyone, does anybody know of a group or org. that has a computer museum or such. the reason i ask is i have some rare and old computers that i don't have the space to continue to hold on to and it would be shame for me to have to throw them out. i would rather donate them to a place where they could continue to teach the history of computers. i thought about ebay, because ther are alot of morons on it and i could probably get a buck or two, but i really don't have the time and patience for that and also i'm a nice guy and i would rather donate them. thanks

here in the mid atlantic it's 9 degrees farenheit **** and that's cold for this area.

hey i contacted genica and even they said they do not have any uk distributors at the moment so i guessing that it will be dificult to find any one who sells it in you area

it is a 1000 ft of cable, and the original price was $42 but it was $19 to ship from cali. to the mid-atlantic. i don't know how much they would charge for overseas. but you couls always ask them.. they said it was meant for a gigabit network but it will work fine for a regular network. it would be really nice if that was sheilded instead of UTP but i'm not complaining there would be no way to get that cable at that price.

cool i shop a lot at www.compgeeks.com and i ended up getting 1000ft of cat5e and 100 ends with crimper and tester for $62 and that's with shipping.

cool thanks, although the shipping would probably kill me considering i'm in the us. but thankyou for the response.

i'm starting to think that it may be a problem when i upgraded, because even though i wanted to do a fresh install of win2k it was not an option at the time.
