Can anyone help me here...The way I have my computer set-up now is with 2 partitions. One partition is for Windows XP and Office XP. The other partition I have is all other programs and documents for 4 users. If I put a reg tweak in my batch file, and then do silent installs of programs after the tweak, would it have changed, meaning would those programs go into the new default installation path even though I haven't restarted? And for the documents, is there a registry tweak where I can have each user's Default My Documents folder change. (E.G. Michael's Documents go to D:\Documents\Michael\, Valerie's Documents go to D:\Documents\Valerie\) Thx!

I'm kinda new to the slipstreaming and everything. I started making the custom CD from the tutorial, and I thought everything was going great when making it. Anyways, I finally have enough RAM to test it on Virtual PC, and when it's copying all the files, it says svcpack.inf cannot be copied. What's going on? It's the only file that won't work. I remembered to delete svcpack.in_ so that shouldn't be the problem.

Ok, I didn't really care about doing it from the Documents, whichever way worked . Would that overwrite the default file that is already there? Edit: The reason I'm asking is cuz I can't try it yet on this computer. I don't want to reformat at the moment (there are other users) and I don't have enough ram (128MB) to run a virtual PC.

I'm kind of a noob at this, but could I put a custom .bmp file (with the right size and everything) into $OEM$\$Docs\All Users\Application Data\Microsoft\User Account Pictures\username.bmp and that would be the image for the corresponding user?
