No one has had this prob before? if not ill try one last thing change to a few isp's in the next few weeks, and let ya know if thats the prob,

i just bought a Nforce 3 Msi K8 Neo2 and im wondering if the drive packs will work i notice some dont have the ethernet drivers in them and i need them since dlink dont havea 64bit driver for my DT 510 gigabyte nic, i need to use the one built into the mobo and i cant use certain dirvers without gettin the NRM Bsod saying i cant install the nice drivers or when change any setttings in their it bsods just when it installs and i think it works i go to change the settings for duplex settings or any setting sit'll bsod with the NVRM or what ever the nic diver is, it dont like any dirvers i get, just wondering if the driver packs will help? i use the Nvraid built in and i cant use the raid driers on disk or downloaded since none work with X64 the os find s them during install,

none can the notebook can get online with xp 64, but the desktop cant no matter what iv tryed it doesnt respond to ping commands, iv tryed pinging from the router, and it times out, yet the desktop gets a ip address, and it cannot access the net, not from command,or dos commands to ping out it times out? think it its the installation? or faulty mother board? wierd thing is it'll work on XP Pro,

yeah iv tryed that pgdwn to bottom then try hit F8 waity for a few mins then try again and nothign only thing it will let me do is hit F3 and quit, this is on a XP SP2 Slipstreamed version of XP and the XP 64 MSDN Version, should i go back to SP 1a and just do upgrade from thier?

Heres another little porb, i just recently upgraded to a AMd 64 bit system a 4000+ 939 pin, and wanted to migrate over to XP 64 so i go to install it from cd, and everythings going fine till i get to the EULA i cant hit F8 so i quite reimage the drive back to xp pro, and go into makeing a Unattened CD of XP 64, everything goes great right till the end when it comes to processing it stays their doing nothing, this is nLite 1.0 RC3 so i trye the last version thats on the site Nlite 1.0 RC1 it will go through everything just finen when it gets to the processing it finnishes no prob takes less then 10 mins, to complete, ther RC3 i let sit at processing for 6 hours and nothing, so i go and make a Clean Partition, everything goes good, i intagrate the sata drivers and it dont like em, so i restart and let it dectect it, it finds them this time no prob no need for disk, and it install with no probs gets to desktop, and i install the chipset drivers for 64 bit support, they install no prob it finds my onboard gigbuit nic, im thinking great its all workign, i vheck the nic it has a valid ip address on the router and within windows, so i try connect to the net, nothing but page cannot be found? can anyone help or need more information?

I should have added that i can hit any other key except F8 it will let me quit and i can hit F6 to intagrate the sata drivers, this also happens on XP 64 bit MSDN,

iv tryed a plain old ibm keyboard, thats about 5 years old lol it has a standard P/S 2 port on it, i also use the microsoft digital media pro keyboard, and the new ms explorer 4.0 both usb but have the P/S 2 connecters on them, mayb i should ask the tech to sell me his since his worked lol,

has anyone else found this prob? iv tryed everythign its even happened in a new rig from a 32bit to a 64 bit has same prob, and all parts are new, basicly i load xp for a fresh install on my sata drive, wd 250 gb, its running off a nv raid using both drivers, the cd is a SP2 intagrated bootable cd, it'll load the windows setup,. it'll load the raid drivers, but when it comes to hitting F8 to agree to the EULA screen it wont accept F8 even with a new Keyboard, the only way i was able to make it work was to use Nlite to create a unattened cd, but that isnt so good becasue i cant use xp rescue , it always comes up with a netmap.inf prob. hopefully someone has seen thsi before, and can fix the F8 issue,

not sure how many ppl play this game but heres the prob, i plan to run a server from a ramdisk, and plus i can use 4 gigs to install certain games into the ram, like wow,wich seems to disconnect me about 251 tims a day, no mater what i do i still get disconnected, heres my old rig , 1, A7N8X Deluxe rev 2.0 2, 1 gig duel channel ram 3, 80 gig ata 133 maxtor diamond 9 4, 350 watt psu enermax 5, gerforce fx 5900 xt 128 6, dlink 510 g gigabit nic, 7, game theater xp 7.1 thats the specs that disconnected me 251 times a day, and no matter what i do i couldnt fix it so i built a new rig, 1,Nforce 3 Neo 2 amd 64 from msi, 2,1 gig byoc duel channel 3,250 gig wd sata. 4,geforce 5900 XT 128 5, marvel gigbyte nic, 6, amd 64 3600+ still same thing dissconects me 160 times a day, so im opting to build a machine that wont have such problems or atl leat under 100 disconects a day, my cable provider is set to 5 mbs down 1.5 mbs up, and they dont know why it happens, so thats why im building this new rig, and getting as much ram as possable in deul channel config, im looking into the 4800+ duel core for better gaming hopefully,

Hi names Shadowarez im a new commer to Msfn and hope to become a regular here, iv have a fdew tips to help everyone deal with xp, and mo money im sure everyone needs some help with xp, hate those bsod's but now thiers something even worse only if you try to make a custom os, and dontk now whats what you can really mess up your xp install, but recently what sucks is installing xp fresh to find out it wont let your past the agree page cuz F8 dont work lol, this just started happening after upgrading to sata 2 drives,

well i thought of trying that but this is a pos motherboard lol,. its a acer and well its bascily junk, i wouldnt have this prob if i had win98 but everytime i install 98 and try get online i get MSHTML preformed a illeagal operation, then theirs a internal error, and i can install win2k beacuase 20% into copying thiers amemory management BSOD, i thought okay my cds garbage so i trashed it, theni went and got a trial which i slipstramed with sp4, tryed that no luck, same prob, then i tryed a retail versionwith sp 4 same thing,

This is my first visit and already its been beyond helpfull in making my POS system stable thanks to the Unattended install guide i built my first Oem cd that has already restored 5 new comps to working order in my first try!, well wanted to say hello and will be here and thier on the board,
