  1. Hi all, I am wanting to deploying Windows XP via a DVD or USB stick. I want the user to boot from either media and have the install take place with minimal interaction from the user. On the media I have the boot.wim for PE and my XP wim. I have edited start net.cmd to call diskpart to format the target drive etc then imagex to apply the XP image. I am saving start net in Windows\system32 on the boot.wim. I then burn my iso to a dvd then boot. When I boot into PE my custom startnet.cmd is reverting back to the default. What's going wrong???? Thanks Mike
  2. Hi, I am now running imagex from the command line booted into Windows PE. Is this command line version of the Image Capture Wizard? As I have been using the Wizard to create my WIM files after resealing and re genrating the SID with SYSPREP. Thanks Mike
  3. Do you know what, I didn't know you could use Imagex to do that. I shall give that a go today, thanks! Mike
  4. I am a newbie with WDS and I am just about getting the hang of it. I have one image (.wim) that when I apply to a Laptop it installs and doesn't prompt me to accept the EULA and enter any details etc. The .wim that works needs some tweeking so decided to re image it and create a new version of the working wim. I am using Sysprep and then installing the wim after capturing it. The settings I'm using on Sysprep are Mini Setup and resealing then shuting down. I believe this is what I did for the image that did work? Can anyone help? Thanks in advance Mike
