Hey , I've got a little problem . I've made some new logical partitions on my external HDD. The new partitions are named but do not have a drive letter.This to avoid problems when i connect my HDD to another pc. In the disk managment all the partitions are recogniced and active. When i go to the explorer only the partitions with drive letter are available, those without drive letter are not been listed. Can somebody help me ???

i've got my data back. thanks to sixpack who has recommanded to use actice undelete and it worked. not one file has lost Thankx sixpack jaclaz thankx for the advice but i must say that scavenger could not retrieve my data But thanks anyway

Hey everybody I've got a major problem. Last week i reinstalled my pc . At that time i accidently deleted my partition of my extern HDD. If that wasn't enough i did also a quick format because when i wanted to recover the file's i recieved a message to format the disk. Now the problem is that i can't recover my file's in the original state. Can somebody help me to recover the file's . i've checked the bios settings and everuthing is in order. I must say its sound on board , is it possible i need to set some jumpers on the motherboards ???

Hey, I've just build a new pc. The motherboard is an ASUS A7V8X MX SE . I've installed the drivers and software for the soundcard on board. In the hardware profile it shows no problems. But I still have NO SOUND. There was also a connexion for a front panel USB/SOUND. At first it was connected to the motherboard and at the frontpanel I had sound. But not at the back , on board. Now i disconnected the frontpanel but still have no sound. I've checked for latest drivers and installed them also Can somebody help me?? Motherboard: ASUS A7V8X-MX SE Processor: AMD XP 2500 Memory: DDR400 256 Mb thanks anyway

Hi i'am working on a unattended installation CD for WIn XP with Office 2003. i have already updated the office 2003 with the patches but now i have a problem recently i've downloaden a hotfix for office but i don't know i i can slipstream it in my office . Can somebody tell me how to do this thanks
