  1. Hi, I´m now administering an 2003 SP2 SBS Server which is used to provide Exchange-Service for our BlackBerry users. The machine was set-up a while back and the company who set up this machine forgot to install the R2 additions as the machine was installed. I´m asking if its possible to install the R2 additons (all other servers in our company are running 2003 R2 Standard) onto such an machine now? I know that the R2 additions could be installed after the base install, but now the machine is "no more clean", if you knwo what I mean. :-) Apart from Exchange 2003 SP2 theres only VMWare Server installed on this machine. Nothing else.
  2. I dont use Nlite so I dont think it is the reason. I could apply KB867282 because I deleted the KB834707 call from svcpack.inf.
  3. Same error here but with another hotfix: http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showtopic=38746
  4. I checked the version of the patch a dozens of times. Regarding http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details...77-978ec6b81b54 I should have the right version for XP Pro SP2. Strange
  5. Hi, I´m trying to update my XP SP2 Unattended CD but with KB885250 (SMB Update) I have no luck. After calling the Update with "windowsxp-kb885250-x86-deu.exe /integrate:c:\wxp" I get an error stating to check the Version of the Patch. It seems that the patch does not match Integrating the other Feb/2005 Updates was no problem. Is there any logging facility so that I can check whats going wrong? Here is my svcpack.inf: [CatalogHeader] [Version] BuildNumber=2600 MinorVersion=1 MajorVersion=5 Signature="$WINDOWS NT$" [SetupData] CatalogSubDir="\I386\svcpack" [SetupHotfixesToRun] KB885884.exe /q /n /z KB885626.exe /q /n /z KB886677.exe /q /n /z KB890831.exe /q /n /z KB890047.exe /q /n /z KB888113.exe /q /n /z KB867282.exe /q /n /z KB891781.exe /q /n /z KB873333.exe /q /n /z KB887472.exe /q /n /z KB888302.exe /q /n /z KB890175.exe /q /n /z KB887797.exe /q /n /z KB886185.exe /q /n /z KB885835.exe /q /n /z KB873339.exe /q /n /z KB885836.exe /q /n /z KB885894.exe /q /n /z KB884020.exe /q /n /z [ProductCatalogsToInstall] KB885884.cat KB885626.cat KB886677.cat KB890831.cat KB890047.cat KB888113.cat KB867282.cat KB891781.cat KB873333.cat KB887472.cat KB888302.cat KB890175.cat KB887797.cat KB886185.cat KB885835.cat KB873339.cat KB885836.cat KB885894.cat KB884020.cat Bye Sebastian
  6. I was able to automatically install SAV 9.0 Corporate as described under http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showto...ndpost&p=164316 (SAV v9.0.0.1400 and LiveUpdate v2.5.55.0) but now everytime I start the Computer a Explorer window pops off which shows the content of "c:\Progra~1\Symantec". Closing it is not the problem but the next time I boot the computer the window reappears. The Computer is running German XP Pro SP2 How to solve this? Thanks Sebastian
