    Win2K Does not support Games?

    My friend has installed windows 2000 Professional now he cannot run the following games:

    1) Mortal Kombat 4

    2) MotoRacer

    it does not run on XP either but when he installs windows 98 it runs very well, is there anyway to make those games run on win2k and XP?

    Making a COPY PROTECTED CD...

    I have some files (my work) in a CD which i don't want anyone to copy to their system. They can read the contents of the CD but cannot copy to their hard disk. I mean i want to make a COPY PROTECTED CD.

    Please help me.

    my first server

    Hey guys

    I have an old computer circa windows 95

    a pentium I 200 Mhz 128mb RAM a solid 2Megs of video memory

    Instead of throwing it out I decided its time to learn about servers.

    I installed windows server 2003 on it and would like to run it as a server at my home for internet sharing, file hosting and windows sharepoint.

    This is my first attempt with a server but i am fairly knowledgable with computers so this shouldnt be too hard for me.

    If anyone could recommend a place to start reading material on how to accomplish what i want done please let me know.

    my first goals are to know what plugs into what? meaning i currently have a cable modem connected to my wireless router which connects the 3 computers in my house. how would i make the server act as the dhcp instead of the router and where would i plug the router? into the server or remain with the modem?

    How do i create a domain?

    Any help would be appreciated

    I recommend you to use CIS Webserver if you are new to webservers. CIS Webserver is very easy to setup. No knowledge required.

    Smart CD-Menu Creator

    Worked fine for me. Very navigatable layout. Easy to use. Only thing I came across was after I had extracted all of the files and ran the executable the first time I got an MSI installation window for Microsoft Office. I'm not sure what's up with this, but after closing the window several times it loaded fine.

    Well, if you are using any NT based os like XP, 2000 pro/server ten this error comes sometimes, this is the problem of your OS :)

    Overlook this problem or try re-installing your OS to overcome this problem :)

    yes but still of no use also tried using localhost but same result :(
