  1. So basically, Since i'm on x86, I cant slipstream x64 display drivers, and when i cant do that, i cant install windows 7. darn my MSI mobo. =/ Edit: so i was already done making the iso for the x64 with the slip streamed 32bit drivers so i figured, what the heck. I throw it on a disk, and instead of asking me if i want to boot from disk, it reads the dvd, and skips straight to my xp hdd. so either the iso was a failure. or my pc really didnt like the 32 bit drivers sorry, long winded. Question: If i extract the iso, mount the install.wim and slipstream. and then make a new iso with everything that was included in the original iso, it should work correctly, no? it was named differently by magiciso but i dont think that would make a difference.. would it? haha, thinking back, i might know why my display wouldnt slipstream. I have a GFX card, and i was using the stock motherboard drivers, my gfx card is Geforce 9500 GT and the drivers were for Geforece 8200.. problem solved? o.o we'll find out in about 10 mins. Dang, I talk too much haha Bleh even with my 9500 x64 win7/vista the driver wont install. is it because I'm on a 32bit xp and i am trying to run a 64bit driver? well not really run, but you know what i mean D: seems like im going to have to obtain an OS with my mobos drivers, so that i can actually slipstream my drivers. D: which fails because i dont have moneys to buy an os right now D: Alright last edit. haha. for some reason after i modify the install.wim then i make a new iso.. it wont boot up from dvd.. but if i burn the original.. it will? :s confused
  2. I'm using dism. I'm able to slipstream my Ethernet my IDE my SMBUS and my SMU but i cant slipstream the Display x64. I was however able to Slipstream the 32 bit display driver, But when i /commit my older hd, the one i was using, got a redundancy check so i couldnt make the iso to test if it would install. So I am doing it all over again. on my stable hd rofl oops. D: edit: Do you think that the 32 bit drivers will even work when I try to install? they slipstream fine to the install.wim but im not sure if it will want to actually use them with the 64bit installer..
  3. Okay, so MS support tells me my mobo's chipset drivers aren't included so i need to slipstream them. I dl the package, and I can install all the drivers (installing vista64 drivers, assuming thats what i need due to it being win 7 x64..) but Im only on a 32bit xp pc. so when i try to add the x64 display drivers it says the system cannot read from the specified device.. is it because I cant run a 64bit driver installation? I'm gonna try to add the 32bit drivers instead of the 64bit, and hope it works. because without my chipset drivers i cannot install win 7 D:
