Thanks for your response. It’s not always that logical. A tool for setting my dvd-r options such as smartburn, used a very confusing wording; if you wanted to disable it, you needed to set it to “Enable”. It was so confusing that a user posted a version of the tool he made with more clearly labeled options. P.S. Sorry for the big fonts, I changed them to normal.

For the love of God; can someone, please, say once and for all, how I need to set the SFC (Enabled or Disabled) if I want “Windows File Protection” to be DISABLED so the XP installation finish faster?
