  2. I'm trying to install drivers for a USB port but keeps giving me the following error: This device is not working properly because Windows cannot load the drivers required for this device. (Code 31) Click Troubleshooter to start the troubleshooter for this device. The code refers to CD Rom but I'm trying to install a USB port What can I do???

I have the follwing error in Win 2000 when running MS-Dos Applications 6-bit MS-DOS Subsystem path to the program you are trying to run C:\WINNT\system32\autoexec.nt The system file is not suitable for running MS-DOS and Microsoft Windows applications. Choose 'Close' to terminate the application On the Microsoft website it gives you steps to fix it but it doesn't work. (http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;305521) I have formatted my PC and re-installed win2000. It was fine for about 2 weeks then it started all over again. Does anybody know how to fix this problem??? Thanks
