  1. lol Yes, I usually do, although occasionally my inherent sarcasm is let loose :/
  2. can the start command be used to run something on a remote machine? I was planning on using the at command since it can take a network computer as a paramater and schedule a task for it. It also is a nifty way of running commands on a remote computer.
  3. I am wondering is it possible to run and "AT" command without having to specify the time. And so that it runs immediately after pressing the enter key. I am asking because I would rather not have to enter a time since I'm too lazy to input the extra 4 digits and look down to my taskbar and then wait for that time to come. Sorry for the noobish question, but it is very hard to google for a command called "at" since it is such a generic, short name.
  4. VNC uses port 5800 for the webclient, and 5900 for the regular client.
  5. You mentioned that you had to remove the sticker from the back and it voided the warranty. I'm assuming you have an OEM machine. Maybe you should try calling their tech support and see if they can help you. Possibly other customers have had a similar issue. If I had to take a guess, I would also agree on the power supply theory. A flaky power supply can bring a whole system down to it's knees.
  6. Hello, I am Cyberwiz01, and usually a frequenter of www.ocforums.com I only heard of this place from an overclockers.com article about unattended windows installations. I decided to check this place out to get more information. I immediately liked the feel of the forum and everyone seemed to be very helpful. So I decided to register. As you might guess I'm mostly a hardware guy. My main rig is watercooled and heavily overclocked and I enjoy voiding warranties Anyways, I am looking forward to expanding my software tweaking ability. I'm looking forward to being part of the MSFN community. Other things about me: I live in So. California I work at a school as part of the tech team. All my machines fold for Stanford's folding @home project http://folding.stanford.edu I have a short attention span (hey what's that!) I like to ski I love the beach I belive in being a nice guy. Anyways, that's a little about me for now.
