OK, I got it fixed.
I needed the 'Use Windows XP style DPI scaling' checked in the custom DPI settings.

They are blurred if inactive or not.

Why is it that some windows are blurred and others not? It was fine before I did a full OS reinstall. The reason for the reinstall is because I'm using a vLite OS, and the SP2 installer was not going to let me install itself. So I reinstalled using my vLite Vista DVD that just has SP1 slipstreamed (nothing removed).
Also, just about all my programs now are blurred and have to be run with the 'Disable display scaling on high DPI settings' checked. Which is annoying, considering I didn't have to do this before the OS reinstall.
Should I just use my original DVD, and then install SP1-SP2?
Note: This is not SP2 fault, things where blurred before I installed SP2.
Vista Prem 32bit
DPI at 125 / 130%
ATI driver 9.3 (9.4 & 9.5 don't have my res type (1440x900))
Integrated x1200 - 128MB
Thanks

If vLite doesn't get updated, perhaps this one will.

IE8 + Sidebar problems
in Windows Vista
Posted · Edited by bri84
It must have something to do with the ATI drivers. I changed the DPI and the sidebar is fine now with IE8 installed.
Got ATI 9.3 installed.
9.4-5 don't have my screen res of 1440x900 for some reason (notified them several days ago).
Thanks
