  1. It must have something to do with the ATI drivers. I changed the DPI and the sidebar is fine now with IE8 installed. Got ATI 9.3 installed. 9.4-5 don't have my screen res of 1440x900 for some reason (notified them several days ago). Thanks
  2. The zip folder is 71MB and I don't have anyplace to store it. Tried the 3 commands but got this on the 2nd and 3rd. 2 3
  3. Just uninstalled IE8 (again). This is how the sidebar should be.
  4. After installing IE8 my sidebar is all messed up, and the clock gadget is using 50% cpu (MS's or Clocktopia). Uninstalled IE8 and reinstalled but the same. Uninstalling IE8 fixes the sidebar problem. This is why I prefer Firefox.
  5. OK, I got it fixed. I needed the 'Use Windows XP style DPI scaling' checked in the custom DPI settings.
  6. They are blurred if inactive or not. Yes its at my native res of 1440x900
  7. Why is it that some windows are blurred and others not? It was fine before I did a full OS reinstall. The reason for the reinstall is because I'm using a vLite OS, and the SP2 installer was not going to let me install itself. So I reinstalled using my vLite Vista DVD that just has SP1 slipstreamed (nothing removed). Also, just about all my programs now are blurred and have to be run with the 'Disable display scaling on high DPI settings' checked. Which is annoying, considering I didn't have to do this before the OS reinstall. Should I just use my original DVD, and then install SP1-SP2? Note: This is not SP2 fault, things where blurred before I installed SP2. Vista Prem 32bit DPI at 125 / 130% ATI driver 9.3 (9.4 & 9.5 don't have my res type (1440x900)) Integrated x1200 - 128MB Thanks
  8. If vLite doesn't get updated, perhaps this one will. http://apcmag.com/how_to_slipstream_vista_...install_dvd.htm http://www.winvistaside.de/downloads/syste...tor-47/?file=47
