xp pro, internet explorer 7 ok For about the last month I have been battling the internet.I typically use google as search engine. When I do a search it brings up the results as normal. When I try to open a search from the results page, I get redirected to a random page. Usually an advertisement, wierd search engine or " internet explorer cannot open page." If I try to open the same search result a second or third time..it will work. This problem also occurs occasionally when I enter a valid address in address bar. I have also found that I cannot download some programs..Such as Kapersky anti virus...or any microsoft updates or patches directly from microsoft.com site. I do have a current version of Nod 32 and it cannot locate any problems. Please help with any suggestions.
