Hello this is my first post here and I have a broken segate 7200.11 1tb hd add these informations to the dataset 9QJ2****:ST31000340AS:9BX158-303:SD15:09131:KRATSG:2008-12-20:2009-04-02:OEM:FINLAND:(no detect in bios):Nexus 400w I might have another broken seagate sometime soon as my friend bougth the same hd at the same time and I have warned him. I wont try the homebrew fix as I don't have anything important data on that hd as I saw this post in january and copied important data to my 320gb 7200.10 3y old and 160gb 7200.7 5y old hd's. I'm very disapointed as I have trusted seagate for a long time as oldest seagate hd is from 95 and is still working in my retro machine and I never had a single broken seagate before (if I don't count those that I took apart for magnets).
