original problem solved: Hey i had this same problem, not necessarily with windows media player. However, I know that Apropos is not a virus, it's adware that dispays popups on your computer. it is very annoying. you can find how to remove it manually on a step by step instruction here: http://www.kephyr.com/spywarescanner/libra...pos/index.phtml you may find it necessary to uninstall it manually, because my spyware program said it would delete it on reboot, but it was still there when i performed a new sweep. If problems persist with your windows media player, then apropos is not related to it, and you may have other devices or viruses on your computer.
