  1. Hi, I work for Xerox Canada as a technical support specialist (last level of support). I have a large customer who wants to install a print driver unattended, using an SMS server. I could always tell them its not supported, and be within my rights. However, this is an opportunity for me to help them and learn at the same time about unattended installations. They're good people. I want to help them. However, I need help. To write a successful unattended production printer driver installation I need to know what the template script looks like for a printer driver that: 1- needs to be assigned a tcp/ip port that may or may not need to be created; 2- needs to assign the lpr byte counting enabled, raw mode, etc. Below is an image for your convenience. I am sure that if I get that far, I can engage our development team to get me more details, like how to deal with accounting (a print driver feature). Please, if you can help by providings tips, script templates, and so, then please do so. I will post results here, so others may benefit as well. Also, I will write the instructions and make a Camstasia, and attempt to let these be downloadable from the Xerox website (this can usually be done, Xerox is good for that.). In any case, I will make them available for a blog I created for this kind of purpose. Thank you for your help, it is really appreciated.
