  1. thx for all i resolved the problem formatting the usb with fat32 filesystem (use the program WinsetupfromUSB) the post can be close!
  2. wait i used WinsetupfromUSB no USB_Multiboot_10 , i try to do this command ok i find the problem is the filesystem of my usb pen lol "it say file system unknow" xD what type of filesystem want grub4dos?
  3. There is NO such thing as a file that can link the menu.lst to grub. First thing it is grub4dos, NOT grub. grldr contains as the last bytes the "internal" entries that search for menu.lst: http://www.boot-land.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=6775 Have you got multiple menu.lst's? However you can use command line in grub4dos to search for the menu.lst (or for another "configfile"): http://diddy.boot-land.net/grub4dos/Grub4dos.htm http://diddy.boot-land.net/grub4dos/files/cli.htm jaclaz no i have only one menu.lts in the usb root , do you want to see some file configuration ?
  4. ok i use the program but i have a problem with grub , it can't find the menu.lst file lol what is the file that can link the menu.lst to grub boot?
  5. [italian] Non credo proprio... [/italian] No way, not really welcome on international fora... Hmmm, check THOROUGHFULLY the FAQ's: http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showtopic=116766 we are sure that it is NOT FAQ #8, but what about the others? Where does the source come from? Is it OEM/nlited/modified? Best test would be to FORGET (for the moment) about USBmultiboot and try WinsetupfromUSB: http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showtopic=120444 and see if the result is the same.... jaclaz the source is a winxp sp2 , i don't know if is it OEM/nlited/modified , how i can see that? i go to view the faq's , tomorrow i try the winsetupfromUSB thx for all
  6. @alrickresa : i have no problem with the bios @jaclaz: sei italiano, rispondimii n italiano i've selected the first option of the menu and it runs the winxp installation with no problem , the only problem is the copying of file on the hd .. i followed this guide http://www.enniosacchetti.it/index.php?src=id&id=83 @wimb MsDosInitiated is 1 the exact error is "unable to access the cdrom containing the installation files of windows XP" how can i fix it?
  7. i have created a usb bootable winxp sp2 and it's ok with USB_Multiboot_10 . When i install windows, after the format of HD ,it can't run to copy the file for installation because it say " there is no win xp CD on your cd/dvd player " .
