  1. I've managed to edit the installer files with Orca and get the installation to work on my Server 2008 box but the exchange tabs are missing from my ADUAC and that's what i really want to work.
  2. It's been a while and i'm still searching for a solution for this. Does anyone have a workaround to get this working?
  3. I've been trying to install Exchange System Manager 2003 on my Windows Server 2008 box for a bit and am unable to find a solid solution. I downloaded the tools for Vista and thought they would install by default but no luck. After some advice from another forum i stripped out 2 lines in the MSI with Orca. Tried it and it worked for me if I deleted the following entries in the InstallUISequence table: * CA_SET_ERROR_MSG * FatalErrorDialog The install did go fine but in Active Directory Users and computers there are no exchange tabs or tasks available. Can someone shed some light on this for me?
  4. Those are two great options that i have not used before or tried so i'll give them a shot. Thanks for the tips fellas!
  5. I accidentally set my pagefile to 0 and upon reboot i keep getting the msg that virtual memory is too low and after hitting OK to try and login it boots me right back out to the same screen again. I can ever login. I have tried to enter the recovery console and use the reg.exe to import a setting for the pagefile but i have no access to that command. I have also tried to remote manage the registry but since the network is not initialized at that point i can't get to it. Safemode does the same thing. I have searched all over google and other forums trying to find an answer to how i can change the registry value even thou i can't bootup into windows. At this point i'm out of options and ideas and i really do not want to reinstall windows all over again. Is there any solution to my problem? I'm using win2000 pro btw. Thanks
  6. I reload an image to a computer using a ghost image? I would like to be able to roll out 50 servers at once with a ghost image and have each one of those use a different specified computer name and ip address in a file i supply to automatically boot and join the domain. I know i can specify the domain to join with sysprep.ini but i have not seen a method that would make each machine use just 1 ip/computer name from a specified list. Ghost would put the image on the machine and i can have sysprep generate a random name and join the domain but i'm looking for more control than that. I've seen nowhere in the ghost documents where i can get the Ghostcaster Server to throw those settings on each machine but never use the same computer name or ip from a list i supply. Is this even possible? Thanks for the help in advance!
  7. Where did you guys wind up putting all the mods at?
