Thank you fizban2. I do not want to do WHQL test. I am wondering whether "authenticode" can help me to solve this problem? Because I have owned certificate issued from verisign, the usage of that certificate is to do code signing. Some applications I published are using "embedded signature". I am not sure whether "Signed catalog file" in "authenticode" can help me. Thank you again.

Hi all, I have tried a lot of methods to disable driver signing in Windows 2008 SP1 X86 platform. None of them work well. Someone told me SP1 has changed something so those methods do not work. Is there any solutions which can disable driver signing? I want a method which only needs very little change in configuration. BTW, I have a certificate issued from VeriSign, and it can be used to sign my binary code. I want to know, whether this certificate can be used to sign my driver? How to do? Does my driver need to be tested by MS test toolkit? My goal is, Windows 2008 SP1 does not prompt that "Windows can't verify the publisher of this driver software". Thank you.
