  1. thanks, but it seems that I'm not going to make another xp cd in the near future. There are still a few things to discover in sp2 I think. So do you know which registry value I can change to turn off the information bar?
  2. pop-ups? eh.. I think you just misunderstood. I'm talking about active content such as java applets, vbscripts, javascripts...
  3. Hello all, Just installed SP2. I'm here editing several javascripts, but as long as I open the htm file which contains active content, IE blocked that automatically. And I have to click the yellow bar and enable it every time. This is really annoying. I checked the help info, Isn't there a way to disable these messages all at once? I mean disable this feature completely. Or how do I turn off each message? There's only one option "Allow blocked content". Thanks
  4. Hi, I noticed that there are two ways to get the boot files for unattended XP CD: 1. Download the boot images from Microsoft and then extract all. 2. Start a new installation with XP CD and copy all the files in the folder $WIN_NT$.~BT. My question is: with the first way I got more files(dlls) than the second. So which method should I use? Are these two the same thing? Thanks.
  5. OK, thanks for all your information guys. Now it works.
  6. thanks for the reply, here it is is it because the UnattendMode is ProvideDefault so that it asks me to enter cdkey? but I've already provided the key in this file. at least it should be displayed in the input.
  7. hummm, with 24 views, isn't there anyone can help me? please...
  8. Hello, I'm here trying to make an unattended XP CD. Indeed I don't really want it to be unattended. What I want is just auto-inserting the XP key and all the rest are user controlled. I've got the winnt.sif generated and put it in i386, along with the winnt.bat. But how can I make the installation execute the bat or sif automatically? I tried the CD on vmware, but it still asks me to insert the key, seems like the sif is ignored. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
