  1. hal.dll error for WinSetupFromUSB

    Prakash posted a topic in Install Windows from USB
    formatted my 2Gb Jetflash drive with FAT32 using HPformat tool and did as asked. During installation of XP after copying of files and rebooting "hal.dll not found" message appears and further progress stops. I was installing onto a system with Intel 845 chipset based motherboard with 1 gb ram and intel celron D processor with the 40 gb hard drive partioned into 4 equal partitions.
