  1. When doing a complete install (format the Pc and install windows xp sp3 + office with sp2) it always gives this error. It does not matter which pc it is. Now, if i do and install again but skip office 2007 and sp2 and install everything else. Then i reboot and install office 2007 then it works correctly.
  2. Well you are not the only one grabby. I too am having a difficult time with Office 2007. But not really with the office 2007 as with the update SP2 for it. After the SP2 for Office 2007 finishes it gives me the same error grabby reported. Could not open History File file c:\history.js error number 70 Permission denied. If i can add. It only gets fixed while using wpi.exe, but not in all PCs. Same windows XP sp3, different PC. Tested on core 2 duo (mine) worked, amd (brother) it did not work, laptop hp (work) worked, pentium 4 did not work.
