    Also be sure do not use any adapter to power the hard drive. I also had garbage characters when I used an adapter molex-sata. It's better use directly the sata power connector of the power supply.

    Hi all! I succesfully recover my Maxtor STM3500320AS with the BSY problem. I used exactly the guide on the first post. Now I like to test my drives. Do you know whicj programs I can use? Thanks! Luca
