Thanks UID0. Spot on. just a small hiccup with RSM but soon had access to my old files on my DDS4 tapes.

When I was on Windows XP I installed a Quantum DAT Tape Drive and used the in built backup utility on Windows XP to backup to a DDS 4 tape. This was fine on XP but having now transferred the DAT Drive to my new machine running Windows Vista Home Premium the drive shows as OK on device manager but I cannot find a backup utility that will map to the new DAT drive so I can access the old data on my previous backup DDS 4 tapes. Can anyone assist?
