  1. Looking at some of the main threads, they're a bit dated back before the release of Windows 7. I'm guessing they "should" be OK to use, however... If anyone has an official version of windows 7 64 bit and have been using vlite or 7customizer, I'd really appreciate any input. How far have you been able to shrink your installation? Which tools did you use? Any problems? I'm basically trying to trim the installation down as much as possible, while keeping functionality for (online)gaming. And if possible, make it unattended. A bit too early to ask? I'm aware there's not any fully functional tools to work on Windows 7 with right now. And there's only vlite for the most part. Thanks! (my installation takes up ~15gb. it's on an SSD, so space is a huge concern)
  2. Hi, I cut back on a lot of things in my nlited install, but I kept the languages I needed intact. Everytime I want to change the; "language for non-unicode programs", it prompts me to insert the Windows XP disc just to copy 1 file over. Depending on the language, it chooses stuff like "app850.fo_" or "app932.fo_" and things like that. Problem is, I already have the files on the computer. But it just keeps prompting me to get that file, every.single.time I change the language. Example: I set the language to English (United States), it prompts for app850.fo_ from the WinXP disc. I browse to it, get the file, done. Now, I change it to English (Canada), it prompts for a similar file again. appxxx.fo_ from the WinXP disc. I browse to it, copy the file, and done. Change it back to English (United States), and again, it asks for that app850.fo_. So, what component did I remove that screwed this up? Or was it because I chose the "delete same files" option. The one where it deletes all the .fo_ because there's already .fon ones (or the other way around). Or perhaps there's a manual way to fix this? It didn't do this before; when I changed languages, it just changed languages, no prompts or anything. Any help is appreciated.
