  1. I user nero 6. I always seem to have used nero for burning dvds. I use alcohol120 to burn disk images. But my nero 6 has lightscribe built into it so I kind of have to use that. I tried nero 7 with no lightscribe options.
  2. Well after extensive searching I am still unable to find a place to get the best timing for my RAM and motherboard. I'm really not running into problems and I really don't want to OC just yet but I would like to see if my timings are correct. I'm running a p4 2.8 prescott, asus p4s800, 512mb stick of corsair xms pc3200 (400mhz), ati 9600 256mb. My latency settings for my ram are set at 2.5-3-3-7 That latency is when I set it to auto. It's the standard latency for my stick of RAM. If anyone knows a place to get timing settings for my motherboard or knows it themselves I would appreciate if you would share the info with me. For the specs I have it just seems to be running a bit sluggish. Benchmarks are not giving me what I expected. Granted I have lowered the latency and got higher benchmark scores (of course) but I would rather have the timings that work the best with my motherboard and ram combo.
  3. Hey all I just wanted to add a little tip in this forum. If your looking for switches and what will do what all you have to do is open a command prompt and switch to where the application is located on your hard drive. Then just add /? as a switch. It will act likes it's running the give you a popup screen of all the needed switches. EXP: C:\temp> setup.exe /? That should give you all the switches you need to know. From silent install to no user interaction to non reboot after install. Just depends on the application itself on what switches will be available for it. There mostly all easy simple switches to remember. I've tested the switches myself. Should work with unattended installation of windows too. I used one of the switches for a sp2 install /quiet and it was a unattended switch and even rebooted my pc by itself after install, no user interaction at all. Just thought I'd throw you guys a little tip for finding out switches for programs.
  4. Hello, I've been a member for a few now but I've just been browsing around and checking stuff out. Love this forum Anyway, I pretty much got the hang of xpcreate with all the hotfixes and other stuff to install. But I just have a couple questions. First I need to know if I can intergrate Microsoft Office to install with the unattended windows installation. And second, Am I able to create a multiple disk installation? Like if the image turns out to be way bigger then a standard cd-r, am I able to put it onto 2 or more cd's so everything installs?
