If anyone is interested, I found a solution. I still can't choose a drive letter, but it turns out that Windows Setup created an extended partition (rather than primary) from the blank space and set it as non-boot. I fixed it with Gparted and reinstalled, and it is now C:.

Greetings. I am trying to "slipstream" SP2 into my WinXP and nlite worked perfectly to create a bootable disk. The only problem is that my system folder on the XP installation is now "E:". My question is this: How do I "force" my WinXP installation to label the partition as C:? I have one hard drive with two partitions, one of which is used only for storage of files, and the other for the "system". There are no other card readers/flash/usb/sd/etc. drives connected during install. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
