  1. This article might be interesting: http://www.thefreelibrary.com/Find+Best+So.....-a01073926556 It shows the probable triggers for the problems. The information in the article comes directly from Salvationdata and the links point to their website. I've found at least 3 other articles with similar info about 7200.11 disks posted on different article directories by salvationdata and linking to their website. This way they are getting more visitors to the webpage where they are selling their recovery software. Seems like they are making good money from the 7200.11 Problems.
  2. If you have a gmail account, sign in and do your search again. There will be a link next to the result so you can promote ite to the top. The more people do that, the higher this forum will show in results for everyone else too. I also did a search for "seagate 7200.11 falling down" and "seagate 7200.11 problems" went to the bottom of the page and clicked the link so I could actually add this forum as a result. I did this with five (yep five) accounts I use on a daily basis. I have some experience in search engine optimization. I don't know if adding the link to the results from different accounts will work, I don't believe this is the way to get higher rankings for this thread. My tip is: create links to this forum from other forums and blogs, but don't just paste the link like this: http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showtopic=128092 Better put some text on it (called anchor text): Seagate 7200.11 problems or Seagate Barracuda 7200.11 This is the way for google to find what this thread is about and rank it higher for these keywords. P.S. My 7200.11 500GB Drive, China Made, is still working fine. I'm just watching here
  3. As long as it has a BSY signal I don't believe EFI will be able to communicate with it. Anyway, i purchased a ST3500320AS Drive recently 9BX154-303:SD15:09142 and I'm following the threads about the problem. It's running fine so far and it's pretty fast. The difference is that it has the Site Code: SUZHSG (Made in China) and SerialNumber is 6QM06YHN (6QM instead of 9QM) Should I be worried? This is my 2nd 500GB Seagate Drive in the system, the other one is from the 7200.10 Series and I have my important info on both drives.
