  1. So, give a suggestion for what i should use? And are there any that will be (at least mostly) compatible with the programs i've written in QBasic?
  2. I'm wondering if i will be able to run QBasic under Vista, or if not, if there's any way to get around it, or if there's a free Basic variant i should look into that will run the programs i wrote for it?
  3. Introducing myself to the forum, and hoping this is the right section to post this in. I am a long time user of Windows 98 SE, as well as the Korg Oasys synthesizer card, and both quite related to each other. The existing drivers for the card does not work with any newer OS than Windows 98 or Mac OS 9. The issue has been throughly discussed on the official mailing list: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/oasys-pci And it is the conclusion of everyone there that there is no way to run it under newer Windows versions. However, they are mostly musicians rather than people with any real "deep" knowledge of the workings of operative systems, so there might be something they've missed. What is it exactly that makes the drivers not work with a newer OS? Is there really no way to use this kind of driver with them?
