i'Ve tried that method 0f yours about registry entries, but didnt help. & jumpers are also set correctly.

I had used it frequently, means on an average, i used to read around 4-5 DVd/CD & write 1-2 cd/dvd. yea i have done many firmware updates. its safe enough f0R me.

MY DVD WRITER IS 1 & A HALF YEARS & IT DID WRITE & ERASE. iTs JUST NOW THE PROBLEM THAT HAS BEEN ARISEN

DvD WRITER PROBLEM I have an LG DVD WRITER {HL-DT-ST DVD-RAM GSA-H54N}.Now the problem is whenever i try to write a CD/DvD OR erase any it gives an error.It cant write or erase any CD./dVd.i have tried 2 softs POWER ISO & NERO 9, both cant write or erase.But i can read all DvD'S & cd'S. could anybody pls. tell me what is the problem, i have tried with many different Cd'S/dVd's also. is the problem of software OR is there any fault in DvD writer. plzz help.

Could anybody pls. assist me with how to make a bootable CD ?? i have a CD of WINDOWS xp WITH ME & I WANT TO INSTAll IT ON MY LAPTOP, BUT IT TELLS THAT U HAVE TO INSTAll THE SATA DRIVERS WITH IT ONLY THEN WINDOWS xp WILL BE INSTAlleD. i do not have a floppy drive I wanna include those drivers in the CD of the xp i have, so that it would install the drivers directly into my pc. pls. could anybody assist me with it ??? the url of the drivers location are : http://tinyurl.com/5qyjp7
