  1. Yeah NTLDR is the renamed SETUPLDR.BIN. The files are proper I guess. I havnt played with txtsetup.sif. Also, the cd works fine. Is there a reason why the PXE is failing ??
  2. Well, I extracted NTLDR startrom.n12 (startrom.0) winnt.sif ntdetect.com Just to test, I got a different WINPE image and it booted fine with PXE (using the same set of above listed files-- so the files are okay). On the other hand, the image that I've built gives me the ntoskrnl.exe error. ---- Posting WINNT.SIF [SetupData] BootDevice = "ramdisk(0)" BootPath = "\i386\System32\" OsLoadOptions = "/noguiboot /fastdetect /minint /rdexportascd /rdpath=winpe.iso"
  3. I am trying to install WinPE 1.2 through PXE (ramdisk option) and I get this error Couldn't load NTOSKRNL.exe, STATUS 14 I made the WinPE out of SP1. Can someone help?
  4. Hey guys can anyone help?? My Winpe (xp) cd gave me NTOSKRNL.exe error on PXE boot , and then when I included the NTOSKRNL.exe with the image then it gave me the "TXTSETUP.SIF error, file not found or missing . Error 7" Its driving me crazy. If I burn the a CD with the image, the CD works like a charm but the image just doesn't PXE boot.
  5. Hey all, I have a WinPE (XP SP1 version) that I installed HTA and WSH support on. It boots up the computer fine if I use a burned CD but the PXE reports error as "INF file txtsetup.sif is missing or corrupt, Status 7" The file is present in /i386 folder of my CD. All other PXE images work fine, so its not a PXE setup error. Can anybody help? Thanks,
  6. Solved. Used "cmdlines.txt" in the sysprep\i386\$oem$ folder to execute the batch files for autologon. Executes after the mini setup phase. Refer microsoft's documentation on their website for usage help.
  7. Hi I am making a Ghost image out of Windows 2003 server. When I deploy the image, during sysprep (after a restart, before the GUIRUNONCE command execution) the Windows box for log in is displayed and a error message "The Password is incorrect" comes up for the Administrator account. 1. Can I modify sysprep.inf to log into a local account instead of Administrator. I know I can use a autolog.reg file, but that is AFTER the sysprep process. I want to log in during the sysprep process into a local account. 2. IF not, how can I get this box for log in to work ? I am posting the sysprep.inf. If I manually enter the password it works fine but automatically it says wrong password.
