  1. Thanks a lot for your input, guys. I'm gonna give MS VirtualPC a try later today
  2. Yup, that's what I thought. That's why I'm leaning towards VirtualBox already and if no warnings pop up in here, I'm gonna go with that. Just wanted to be sure before I spend a few hours learning how to set it up, configure, etc... And in regards of my statement about not wanting to spend money, I might reconsider if everyone starts yelling at me to buy something better than VirtualBox
  3. Now that I have grown somewhat confident using Nlite, I'd like set up a Virtual Machine to test my newly created software. I have been browsing the internet a little and have learned of 3 different VM's. Namely VMWare, MS Virtual Machine 2k7 and VirtualBox (GNU). Having no previous experience with running this kind of software, I'd love some pointers as to what software is recommended. Also, I have no intentions of paying my way out of this situation, as I'm only going to use it for private and limited purposes. So...what kind of Virtual Machine do you guys use for testing software ? Thanks in advance
  4. Plain and simple as that, huh ? I guess I should have figured, then Thanks for replying !
  5. Hi all. Please forgive my ignorance, as I'm very much a newbie to this stuff. I have succesfully managed to create a few bootable ISO's with NLite containing a slipstreamed SP3 and my laptop drivers. After stumbling across this goldmine, I now want to add several of the cool addons found in here and possibly my own as well. My question is : "How do I actually integrate these addons ?" Do I need to load them in NLite somehow or do I need to modify the files in my source folder before starting NLite ? Heeeelp ! p.s. Sorry if this has been asked and answered a million times, I could not find any helpful info anywhere. (But perhaps this is just me..lol)
  6. JohnDoe, you are truly a god amongst men who greatly desires to slip VLC into an XP installation.
