um, you said "All the walls from RC are still included."
since the fish is not included then not ALL are included.
you made it sound like the fish was still there but a new one was set as the default.
so no reason for big red text.
Here's a wall suited for when 7 goes gold for all you fish lovers

I couldn't agree more, particulary at lower resolutions. I actually prefer the 'Starter' edition wallpaper (thanks ekos8).i just applied the wallpaper to my desktop and its horrible.that windows logo is just way too big!
I'm assuming the additional wallpapers added for the RC will be included in the RTM? I wasn't too keen on the psychedelic ones, although the I did like the Seattle selection.
All the walls from RC are still included. The new wall just replaces the beta fish.
where? i don't see the fishy anywhere?
:/
has anyone tried dreamscene for w7? i just want to know if it works cause i'm not too fond of 2d wallpaperI heard it doesn't work, but hey they could always add it through WU after RTM. I doubt it though. From my understanding they understood Ultimate Extras was a flop and have decided to forget all about them for 7.

We'll find out tomorrow for sure during Ballmer's keynote.

Nah, it's the final wallpaper(s) as you can tell by looking at these screenshots of the leaked RTM. Even if they do make another RTM build (Vista's first RTM build was 16384, but they built a 16385 and finally settled on 16386), they wont change the wallpaper at all.

Just got a hold of the Starter Edition wallpaper, they should have made it the default for all, its a lot better

Note: Those builds are not the official iso's they have been made with the 7229 setup files and the leaked vhd images
No one was talking about the vhd or leaks....simply asking what lead to my statement of this being the official default wallpaper. But to amuse you the reason they had to release it as a vhd is to prevent the build being tracked back to the original leaker. And fyi all, the above image came directly out of the vhd untouched so all the metadata is intact for those anal about that stuff like me

TY for 1920x1200 I am surprised there is no "7", what makes you think this is "official"?I just installed Windows 7 Build 7232 and this is the wallpaper I have instead of the beta fish.0

This is it unless they make a last minute change before RTM

Please call it 7ize and not Sevenize

This problem seems to exist with USB keys as well - I have a 4GB key and a 64GB key, and I cannot get the installation of Vista OR Windows 7 to work from the 64GB key, unless it has only a 4GB partition (and nothing else). the 4GB key obviously works fine, and my previous 8GB key had the same problems. I believe there's some sort of issue with images larger than 4.7GB, so I'll file the bug. We'll see if this is expected or not.
That's odd, I install Vista from my 16GB USB all the time, no partitions on it or anything :/

I have a different view. I'd suggest not jumping to conclusions that the products are "still alive" until he says otherwise. As far as I have seen, they're "not in development anymore", and I have seen no indications otherwise. That said, if he is working for Microsoft, good for him. He has earned/deserves it.

Just purposely ignoring everyone. Wow.

I think vLite and nLite are dead, and I fear there will be no 7Lite too.

Vista had a patch where it shows installed ram, not usable ram.

The above is correct. Capturing a WIM from the installed media is the way to go.

It's always possible he moved on to other things.

I obviously can not link to it but they made it and it is 'out there'. I have it atm.
