Yes! My server was AD and only server on the network. For some reason, the network stop working even though network drivers loaded. I even tried installing new NIC card but still can't ping or see any other systems on the network. Ended up installing a new Domain Server. Have alot of apps already installed and hate to reformat the drive. Already removed AD but still can't get the network to work. Just wonder if I could convert to Workstation then figure out why the network doesn't work. If all fail, I will have to reinstall windows. Any idea why network does not work? thanks..

Can Win2000 server be converted to Workstation? I saw this link http://www.msfn.org/win2k3/ shows how to convert a Win2k3 server to workstation. I have a system which has Win2000 server installed and would like to conver it to run like a Workstation so I don't have to reinstall all the applications, but still allows me to convert it back to server later when needed.
