  1. This happens after a successful Ghost takes place. This has happened to me before the only resolution that I found was reinstalling Windows from the ground up... So any help you could offer would be awesome. In device manager it shows everything as installed properly. Thanks : Blyenth
  2. thanks so much guys. Sorry I haven't responded. Been out of the office for a couple of days. I'll try all the suggestions!
  3. I wasn't sure where to but this question. I am sitting at work and all my projects are complete. We have a WSUS server running but for some of clients who have dial up at home I want to make a single patch versus a batch file that runs something like 91 files. I have been very successful with unattended Windows installs so I understand that concept but there has to be a way to combine all the hotfixes into one big one. A push in the right direction is all I need. Thank you!
  4. I have a little programming expierence but for the sake of this question, let's say I have no programming experience. Anyhow, I would like to learn C# but I can't decide on which book(s) I need to pick up to get a good foot hold. Any help would be super awesome. Thanks in advance.
  5. Awesome. I fixed it guys. Thank you so much. nLite was the problem...should read what I check off huh?
  6. Yeah, I was working on unattended Win XP Pro CD using nLite. I didn't think I disabled the Windows Logo Key but I half did I guess? *shrugs* No big deal I just discovered the joy of Win Logo Key + E, etc. If however you know how to turn it back on that would be super.
  7. I accidently disabled my windows logo key. Anyone know how to turn that back on? Well...actaully it works but it doesn't work with Windows Key + E (does not open exploerr) Thank you
  8. Thanks buddy! I'll work on it tonight!
  9. Hello all, I have been struggling and searching for this all day. And I am sure it's posted some where on here or on the internet but my eyes are about ready to fall out from not blinking for many hours.... Anyhow the problem: I don't have a lot of room left on my UBCD but I would really like to add a LNX BBC to it. I just can't seem to find a way to call the iso. I tried extracting all the files and calling lnx.img as the boot image using both memdisk and bcdw (newest version of cdshell and bcdw) and it looks like it's going to load but then it errors out and says it can't find the CD-ROM. Any suggestions. Thanks Mike
  10. Thanks for the insanely quick response. Also, I don't slipstream because I'm not reinstalling windows on every new computer that I work on, just updating. Thank you. Blyenth
  11. I am trying to write a batch file that will call up "hklm\software\microsoft\windows nt\currentversion\csdversion" and determine if Service Pack 2 is installed. If SP2 isn't installed, have it install it for me. Any help would be awesome thank you. Blyenth
  12. Thanks for the quick responses guys!
  13. Does anyone know where the "Visual Effects" registry keys are. I am trying to shut them all off during my unattended. Any help would be awesome, thanks in advance. Mike
