I have formatted a USB key a certain way and have multiple files on it. I would like to create a exact copy of the usb key..... any ideas? I was thinking maybe an ISO or something? I am also trying to use a Batch file that will automate the process.

No I did not prep it. Even if I did why would I get the error message when attempting to import a driver?

It is a WinPE img that have the drivers added. I have a different system and need to add the driver.

No this is a WAIK v1.1 on a VISTA system.

I am trying to update a network driver on a prepped WIM file. First I mount the image and when I attempt to load the inf file it gives me an error stating that the specificed directory is not a WinPE image. The Clean all supposedly only clears the first MB of the disk.....according to this article: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/952630

The default WinPE 2 image comes with the ENG scripting, WMI, XML, MDAC and HTA packs imported. If I am creating a French version of WinPE should I import and install the french versions of these packages? Would would be the difference?

This utility didn't work in WinPE 2. So I want to try and make a script or something that can tell how much time is lift with the battery.....perhaps percentage level... any advice? I have started looking through the dlls and it seems tha WinPE has some of the required files to do this.

I have a USB that when you plug it in a specific EXE is run. When I use this on XP it works. However when I try to use it on Vista it doesn't work. Is it possible the USB drivers are making this application not work?

I want to change the drive label used in WinPE.... it makes the default drive letter X: with a label of Boot can i change this setting?

Does anyone know how to customize BS Explorer to remove the text in the bottom right hand corner. If you try and leave that field blank it fills it with a bunch of standard text any ideas?

I know I was just wondering because I close the lid sometimes when things are running and am not sure if the setup is complete.

When I close the LCD on my laptop the screen is black and I cannot get anytthing to reappear. This seems to happen with all different laptops. I think it is a WinPE limitation any proof or ideas on why this happens?

I was wondering if i could make a popup appear with a message when it connects. It does detect it but I thought maybe a tool may have existed to make this happen.
