    I am also seeing this issue with 1.2 Final I'm running Windows XP SP3, downloaded-burned-installed WAIK. Rebooted. vLite still wanted WAIK to be installed when I launched vLite. Uninstalled vLite 1.2 and installed 1.2rc and that works.
