I finally have the 32 bit XP install working. I have been everywhere looking for the right files and think I found the solution. This is on a HP DV7-1130us - AMD Turion X2 64 I found this on the HP forums and it's what worked for me. The fouth post lists the AMD SATA AHCI download which contains both 32 bit and 64 bit formats. http://forums11.itrc.hp.com/service/forums...hreadId=1277575 I slipstreamed the XP pro CD with the driver folder, and was sure to only select the x86 (32 bit) option. I presume the X64 would work but for this application I needed 32 bit Windows XP.
