  1. Hi there! I'm a DJ and I'm using one of the most popular DJ soft-/hardware solution called "ScratchLIVE" by Serato Audio Research (SL or SSL). It is an application to control and manipulate digital files (e.g. MP3) with special "Time code media" (vinyl and/or CD). It runs on Mac OSX, Win XP SP2 and Vista. Information on SL: www.scratchlive.net and www.serato.com Since the netbooks (Intel Atom powered notebooks with 8.9" and 10.2" screens) are very popular and low cost, they're becoming really interessting for DJs using ScratchLIVE. I'm running it on an Asus Eee PC 1000H (1.6G Intel Atom N270, 1G RAM, 160G sata harddisc) and it seems to work good, but I will small Windows XP Home down that much, that it is only cappable to run SL, nothing else. I've also made some videos with SL running on my Eee which you can see here: www.youtube.com/oxygensk My aim is to create an XP Home installation disc that... ...has no network and wi-fi functions ...has no internet connection ...has no windows media player ...needs the lowest amount of RAM size ...is able to play sound ...doesn't slow down the processor, ram, and harddisc ...can use the usb, vga, and sound connections ...can be installed from an external usb-drive (e.g. optical drive, usb flash drive) ...(if possible) can run the Asus ACPI drivers I hope you can help me out here, since my experiences with nLite are not very good btw: I do have the time to create and try out some installation CDs but it'd be very useful if I knew what I'm doing, since I want to pass the information to the ScratchLIVE & nLite community! Best regards, Serkan btw: I'll try to improve my English as well, if you know what I mean
