  1. I'm not sure where i should have posted it but this forum seemed like the best one to do it in. Anyways, I'm a college student and i need to get Microsoft Office Home and Student 2008, but like most other college students i am broke and can't afford to pay $100+ for a program. So i decided to see if i could find it online. Finally i found a torrent and downloaded it and opened the folder and it was a .dmg file. So i am pretty new to computer files and the whole torrent thing and i have never seen a .dmg file. I have looked it up and found that i need to convert that .dmg file to a .iso and burn it as a image CD/DVD. Now i have done all that and i have it on a DVD but when i pop it in my drive a window comes up with a few folders and files, i thought it would autoplay and start installing but i was wrong? I searched through all the files and there was no setup or installer in any of the sub folders. Did i do this correct? I tried burning the image to a CD but the .iso file is more then a blank CD can hold, but the .dmg would fit on it. Like i said I'm still pretty new so any advice and/or guide would help this broke college student out. Also these are the specs of my notebook if needed. Windows Vista Home Premium SP1 Intel® Pentium® Dual CPU T2370 @ 1.73 GHz 3.00 GB ram 32-bit OS Thanks!!!
