  1. For anyone interested in converting thier DV7-1130us back to XP. I have figured out the perfect set. All things are functioning perfectly on here with XPSP3. The audio is borrowed from the XP version of the DV5 and can be found here: http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwar...product=3744254 The WiFi and others can use the Vista drivers. They work. As for the sata drivers (AHCI) use the ones posted above.
  2. OS= Vista 64 (Home Premium) SP1 No idea what you mean by the second question... Does Vista auto identify and install drivers for my audio device? Yes HArdware IDs= High Definition Audio Device HDAUDIO\FUNC_01&VEN_1002&DEV_791A&SUBSYS_00791A00&REV_1000 HDAUDIO\FUNC_01&VEN_1002&DEV_791A&SUBSYS_00791A00 IDT High Definition Audio CODEC HDAUDIO\FUNC_01&VEN_111D&DEV_76B2&SUBSYS_103C30FC&REV_1003 HDAUDIO\FUNC_01&VEN_111D&DEV_76B2&SUBSYS_103C30FC
  3. No go huh? I mean... if I try it and the sound doesnt work... then Im kinda at a loss...
  4. Hopefuly that will work.... but I dunno if I wanna do it if theres no sound.
  5. The same as above: dv-71130us by HP. AMD Turion x2 64, etc. The drivers were listed as the x64 drivers. When the choice in nLite came to ask which to install, I chose only the x64 ones. But I would imagine that iastore.sys shouldnt even be showing up, as I thought that was an intel driver... but ive got an AMD board, dont I? Id actually prefer to run x86 windows on this machine if thats at all possible.... Ugh... vista home p***es me off.
  6. Im having very likely, the same issue... only, when mine stops its saying: "iastore.sys" is the 32bit version. This only seems to happen when I put the drivers from AMD slipstreamed into my xp64 with nLite. Any suggestions?
